You can buy Chaotic trading cards and play the online Chaotic game on May 16.
That's when you can buy starter decks of UnderWorld or OverWorld Chaotic trading cards. Each Chaotic card has an alphanumeric code and power structure. No two cards are alike. You can upload your own Chaotic trading cards to battle and trade online at no additional cost. The Chaotic game website will also go live on May 16.
In the Chaotic trading card game, players battle Creatures armed with Battlegear and Mugic. With actual cards or through the online Chaotic website, players move Creatures on a battlegrid, challenging their opponents' Creatures to battle
until one team remains.
All Chaotic Creatures have magical powers -- grouped into five Element categories: Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Discipline -- which determine the Attacks used in battle.
The Chaotic TV series airs Saturday mornings on 4Kids TV. In the Chaotic cartoon, Tom and Kazdan discover a portal to the Chaotic world while playing the Chaotic trading card game. The boys realize the codes on their Chaotic cards are scans of the living creatures. When the boys are challenged to a battle, they are transformed into the creatures whose scans they have captured. By watching the Chaotic show, viewers learn battle strategies that help them master the Chaotic trading card game.
Over 300,000 virtual Chaotic trading cards have been downloaded.
Chaotic premiers on 4Kids TV at the end of this week. It's a high-definition animated action adventure cartoon show.

So... the Chaotic show debuts on 4Kids TV later this month. But... the trading card game launch is now six months away. The orignal announcement targeted a lauch of the game later this year. It's unfortunate that the card game won't be available for the 2006 holiday shopping season.
